Privacy Policy

Divya Naad(“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP).

What we collect

• Account information — the email address and authentication details you provide when you create an account, so we can sign you in and sync your favourites and practice history.
• Minimal device information — device model and name, operating system and version, app version, and language/locale. We use this only for debugging, crash diagnostics, support, and security.
• A random install identifier — generated on your device. We deliberately do not collect hardware identifiers, phone number, or precise location.

How we use your data

We use your data only for the purposes stated above — to provide and improve the app, keep it secure, and support you. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not repurpose it for unrelated uses.

Consent

We ask for your consent through separate, un-bundled choices when you sign up — agreeing to this Privacy Policy and to the Terms of Service are distinct, explicit opt-ins. If we change this policy materially, we will ask again before continuing.

Withdrawing consent & your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may, at any time:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or update it;
• withdraw your consent and request deletion of your account and data;
• raise a grievance about how your data is handled.

You can exercise these rights from within the app, or by contacting us at privacy@divyanaad.imshyam.in.

Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, and delete it when it is no longer required or when you ask us to.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and access is restricted at the database level (row-level security), so each person can reach only their own data.

For any privacy question, request, or complaint, contact our data-protection point of contact at privacy@divyanaad.imshyam.in. We aim to respond within a reasonable time as required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The version and last-updated date above always reflect the current version, and we will re-request consent when changes are material.
